Jersey City Giants 1950 Ballcap
Ebbets Field Flannels
Founded in 1988, Ebbets Field Flannels have become renowned for their ability to manufacture exact replicas of genuine mid-Century American sportswear apparel. Inspired by lesser-known independent league teams and dedicated to using original materials and techniques, the brand are committed to staying faithful to original designs. Ebbets Field Flannels has grown to become the finest producer of vintage American baseball attire.
Jersey City's long association with the New York Giants came to an end after the 1950 season. With televised major league games now a reality, and the Yankees, Dodgers, and Giants just across the river in New York City, the formerly rabid "Little Giants" fans were staying away from Roosevelt Stadium in droves. This was the last time the team existed and the team took off for Ottawa, Canada the following year.
