Founded in 1988, Ebbets Field Flannels have become renowned for their ability to manufacture exact replicas of genuine mid-Century American sportswear apparel. Inspired by lesser-known independent league teams and dedicated to using original materials and techniques, Ebbets Field Flannels are committed to staying faithful to original designs and have grown to become the finest producer of vintage American baseball attire.

Considered the premier territory for the future of pro soccer in the US, both the NPSL and United Soccer Association placed teams in New York in 1967. The FIFA-sanctioned USA club was owned by Madison Square Garden. The C.A. Cerro club from Montevideo, Uruguay were imported to be the New York Skyliners. However, the USA’s rival, the outlaw NPSL, had the national television contract, and the Generals were the more successful of the two Gotham teams, both of which played at Yankee Stadium. Generals player Gordon Bradley went on to become the first coach of the New York Cosmos in 1971.
